ATLANTIS Engineering has been established in Thessaloniki, Greece, in 1997 providing high quality services in the areas of Maintenance management. In this frame the company has developed and implements a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This CMMS has been successfully installed and implemented in about 60 industries, universities, ports, hospitals.

ATLANTIS has several other activities related to maintenance:

  • It is a founding member of the Hellenic Maintenance Society, which is member of the European Federation of National Maintenance Societies.
  • Organising, for the last 6 years, the Greek Maintenance Forum with remarkable correspondence and participation from the industrial, mainly, sector.
  • Maintenance departments’ re-engineering
  • Seminars in Maintenance management.
  • Participation in several national or European research projects in the area of maintenance management.
  • Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) implementation.

The company has well-experienced staff of about 10 people with strong engineering (mechanical and electrical) and computing background.

MIIT is an Engineering services company dealing with maintenance matters. With 20 years of presence in the market, it has expanded its business to cover Portugal, Spain and other Portuguese speaking countries, such as Angola and Brazil. The company has more than 200 installations of its main product, the CMMS Int’Graal, and has hundreds of clients using MIIT smaller IT products, some of them with links to other systems (i.e. SAP).

MIIT also develops services in the area of condition monitoring, project appraisal from the maintenance point of view; and extensive data treatment related to reliability calculations (RAM methodology) and LCC forecasting and control. The company issues a regular newsletter and plays an important role in the Portuguese Maintenance Society. Furthermore, it has established business cooperation with big enterprises such as Alstom, Siemens, Efacec, Transdev, etc.

UTEK is the Swedish Maintenance Society, established 1969. It owns a service company UTEK AB. UTEK, as a non-profit organisation, among other things it is working with activities regarding training and education in the field of maintenance especially for SMEs, certification of maintenance professionals, seminars and conferences within reliability and maintenance.

UTEK was one of the Associations, which, 40 years ago, formed the European Federation of National Maintenance Societies (EFNMS), and has, since the beginning, been very active in different international projects. UTEK is participating in the EFNMS’ training committee and has the leadership of the EFNMS’ certification committee. The experience of the persons in UTEK working with the Leonardo project is not only from the associations work but also large projects within industry, technical education and governmental projects including hundreds of specialists and millions of Euro.
